Registered Nurse

What you’ll be doing
• Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of residents
• Administering medication and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners
• Monitoring residents’ health and wellbeing and reporting any changes to the care team
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to resident care
• Maintaining accurate and detailed clinical records
• Providing support, guidance and mentorship to enrolled nurses and care staff
• Promoting a positive and inclusive environment for residents, families and staff
What we’re looking for
• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an aged care setting
• A demonstrated commitment to person-centred care and enhancing the quality of life for older adults
• Strong clinical skills in assessment, care planning and the delivery of nursing interventions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with residents, families and the wider care team
• A caring, compassionate and patient-focused approach
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team
