Elderly Care Limited, in collaboration with TriCare, is dedicated to providing exceptional residential aged care services across Queensland and Victoria. With a team of approximately 1,500 staff, we are committed to delivering high-quality care to our residents.

The Toowoomba Aged Care Residence features beautifully landscaped gardens and modern outdoor spaces designed for relaxation. The secure Dementia Wing at this facility highlights our commitment to specialised care, ensuring the safety and freedom of movement for residents with specific needs.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Aged Care Manager to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will lead our team, ensuring the continued delivery of exceptional care to our residents.

Key responsibilities of the Role:

·       Ensure High Standards of Care: Ensuring the clinical team is implementing high quality of care, process, and documentation in timely manner.

·       Create a Positive Environment: Foster a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity among all the residents and staff. Encourage residents to express their preferences and participate in decision-making regarding their Care.

·       Develop High-Performance Teams: Recruit, train, and retain talented individuals who share the organisation’s values and commitment to resident-centred Care.

·       Effective Management: Develop and adhere to a comprehensive budget, closely monitor financial performance, and implement cost-effective process to ensure the financial sustainability of the residence.

·       Positive Leadership: Lead by example, demonstrating adaptability, innovation, and a commitment to continuous learning.

·       Time Management: Adhere to demonstrating a punctual environment including clinical and non-clinical matters leaving the positive impact on the standards of residents living and care home performance.

Key Selection Criteria:

  • Leadership and management in an Aged Care environment is essential
  • Extensive operational management skills and experience, including budgeting, rostering, recruitment & and retention, clinical & nonclinical management, and overall care home performance and reputation.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • AHPRA registration with leadership experience would be advantageous.
