To complement this facility, we are currently seeking a passionate, experienced, and capable Business Support Officer to join our team in a Full-time capacity (76 hours per fortnight). This role is responsible for managing clients’ inquiries, nurturing relationships, and assisting with sales tours and residents’ admission. You will be supported by and reporting to the Facility Manager.

You will be able to demonstrate that you meet the following criteria:

  • Be friendly, patient, compassionate and caring.
  • Be sales and customer-driven and have excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Coordinate sales enquiries, follow up with prospective clients, and facilitate sales and marketing opportunities for your facility.
  • Conduct sales tours with prospective clients and their families
  • Understanding of the aged care industry and local area strengths and weaknesses that contribute to the success and challenges of (occupancy) in the aged care residence.
  • Be able to approach the situation with flexibility, can demonstrate to work independently and as part of a team to maximize occupancy levels and client satisfaction.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with and help people from all walks of life.
  • Be a strong advocate for continuous improvement / following up and addressing client feedback.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in a management support role (aged care experience preferred)
  • Dedicated and self-driven to the achievement of KPIs.
  • Monitoring of procedures and standards in a service environment
  • Proficient in the use of common computer applications and technology generally
