Clinical Manager

PT Vernon Aged Care Residence offers a peaceful and welcoming environment, facing coastal views with modern outdoor spaces designed for relaxation. This residence has an 80-bed capacity for our Residents.

We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Manager to join the team in a full-time permanent capacity.

As the Clinical Manager, you will lead clinical governance at our residence, working closely with the Facility Manager. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our residents while fostering a positive clinical work culture.

The key responsibilities for this position are: 

• Lead clinical governance and ensure compliance with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Provide coaching and training to clinical staff members.
• Utilise technology efficiently, including an electronic care management system.
• Collaborate with the Facility Manager to ensure high-quality care delivery.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of aged care processes and regulations.

To be successful for this position the following are required: 

• Minimum three years of aged care experience (preferred).
• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Proficiency in using computers and technology.
• Familiarity with Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Experience in coaching and training clinical employees.
• Additional qualifications such as Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferred)
• New Zealand Citizen with full work rights in Australia (no visa sponsorship on offer)
• Willing to relocate to Hervey Bay for https://shorturl.at/pG9vz
