Tricare Annerley Aged Care Residence managed by Elderly Care offers a peaceful and welcoming environment, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and modern outdoor spaces designed for relaxation. The inclusion of a secure Dementia Wing demonstrates a commitment to providing specialised care for residents with specific needs, ensuring their safety and freedom of movement.

To complement this facility, we are currently seeking passionate, experienced, and capable Handyman to join our team in a part-time capacity with dedicated 45 hrs per fortnight to support and maintain our Annerley facility.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous hands-on experience in maintenance, building, or construction industries.
• Skills in carpentry, tiling, painting, plastering, labouring, property maintenance, or handyman tasks.
• Eligibility to work in Australia is essential.
• Possession of a White Card is advantageous.
• Successful completion of a Police Check is required.

• Manage projects within set time frames with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Impeccable personal presentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Skills:

• Competence in performing various maintenance tasks, from basic repairs to complex projects.
• Experience in commercial maintenance work.
• Excellent verbal communication and respectful interaction with residents, families, colleagues, and contractors.
