Housekeeping Team Leader

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Pimpama Aged Care Residence on a Permanent Part-Time basis (75 hours per fortnight).

In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents by overseeing and performing general cleaning and laundry operations across the facility.

Your attention to detail, commitment to high standards and organisation will help ensure our residents feel comfortable and cared for every day.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in aged care or hospitality is essential
• Previous proven leadership experience
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene in line with infection control practices in health care setting.
• Sound knowledge and ability to follow instructions on cleaning with chemicals, equipment, and techniques
• A customer service focus with a person-centred approach to care
• Good verbal communication skills and a friendly, empathetic nature
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
• A hands-on, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support others
• Understanding of and commitment to workplace health and safety
