Personal Care Worker

Elderly Care is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team in Labrador Aged Care Residences. This Part-time role will see you providing high-quality care and support to our elderly residents, ensuring their physical, emotional and social needs are met with compassion and professionalism.

What you’ll be doing

• Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming and mobility
• Monitoring and recording residents’ health, dietary and personal care needs
• Engaging residents in social, recreational and therapeutic activities to enhance their wellbeing
• Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable living environment for residents
• Communicating effectively with residents, their families and the broader care team
• Adhering to all company policies, procedures and quality standards

What we’re looking for

• A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification
• Demonstrated experience in providing person-centred care to elderly residents
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships
• A caring, compassionate and empathetic nature
• The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
• Flexibility in shift times
