Regional Care and Compliance Coordinator – Gold Coast Region
Elderly Care is seeking an experienced Care and Compliance Coordinator to support facilities across the Gold Coast Region. This role will support the following locations: Mermaid Beach, Bayview, Cypress Gardens, Pimpama, Labrador and Williams Landing (Victoria)
This is a full time, permanent position reporting to the Group Care and Compliance Manager. The role is responsible for supporting the delivery of high-quality care and ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory, legislative, and organisational requirements across the region.
About the Role
• Lead and support clinical governance, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple aged care residences.
• Conduct internal audits, develop action plans, and mentor facility teams to meet Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Collaborate on policy development and implementation, staff training, and onboarding of management and clinical personnel.
• Assist with investigations and responses for internal and external stakeholders in relation to incidents, complaints, coroners’ reviews and regulatory submissions.
• Assist with preparing and writing monthly reports on compliance and quality activities, complaints, and other quality and clinical indicators.
• Actively participates in governance, education and quality management committees
What You Must Bring
• Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum 5 years’ senior management experience in aged care in a role such as a Clinical Manager, Facility Manager or similar quality and compliance role.
• Strong understanding of aged care legislation, Quality Standards, and clinical governance.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to travel within the Gold Coast Region and from time to time to Victoria; open driver’s licence required.
