Registered Nurse (Casual)

Elderly Care is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join our dynamic aged care team at Kawana Waters Aged Care Residence. This Casual role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our elderly residents, providing high-quality nursing care and supporting our commitment to person-centred care.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing comprehensive nursing care to our elderly residents, including medication management, wound care, and monitoring of health conditions
• Assessing and developing individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
• Collaborating with the multidisciplinary care team to ensure seamless and coordinated care delivery
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation, in accordance with regulatory requirements
• Actively contributing to the continuous improvement of our nursing practices and aged care services
• Promoting a positive and supportive environment for our residents, families, and the broader care team

What we’re looking for

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an aged care or similar healthcare setting
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Commitment to person-centred care and a passion for improving the lives of the elderly
• Proficiency in relevant software applications and documentation processes
• Available for Night shifts
